Weekly Roundup: March 2-8
What a great day on the bikes with GGC!
Jeff and Debra hosted a bike navigation/scavenger hunt where participants had 75 minutes to find as many of the 21 controls as possible—solving clues along the way, from counting steps to spotting cornerstone dates.
Our top finisher found and answered all 21 correctly in just 58 minutes! Some went a little over time but still crushed it.
The best part? Participants said it was so much fun and want to do more. Keep an eye on the GGC calendar and newsletter for the next adventure!

GGC Container Update:

Saturday 03/07 - for the fems and thems bike maintenance class 10am
Sometimes working on your bike alone can be uncomfy and a little scary. This class will be led by Lauren Blanch (secretary of GGC) and Debra Rezelli (executive director of GGC), two experienced casual riders who will walk you through how to manage roadside and trailside repairs. This class is meant to be very hands on so bring your bike and some questions! Tickets are $30 and they include a beverage from The Bike Library Cafe and tools for your flat kit.
Saturday 03/07 - GGC: Women’s History Month Ride
In honor of March being Women's History Month we are kicking things off with a ride after the fems and thems bike maintenance class. This ride is open to everyone! Meet at The Bike Library Cafe at 12pm, roll out at 12:05pm. Bring your bike, a helmet, water, and a pal! This ride is casual and no drop.

Sunday 03/08 - GGC: Bike Maintenance Class
The GGC Container on NC States Centennial Campus is open and ready for service! That means this months free basic bike maintenance class will be back at the container!
GGCs monthly Basic Maintenance Class is a great way to learn the essentials of bike care and tune-ups. Each class is shaped by who shows up — we tailor the content based on attendees’ knowledge and experience, so no two sessions are exactly the same!
