07/16 - Third Thursday Cruiser Ride with OCC

OCCs monthly short, fun, and social ride around Downtown Raleigh dubbed the slowest ride in town. All riders of all communities are welcome!! High emphasis on fun low emphasis on speed. Meet at OCC at 7:30pm.

07/17 - Open Mic Night at TBL Cafe

Join TBL every third Friday of the month for an evening of creativity and community! Whether you’re a musician, poet, storyteller, or just want to cheer others on, everyone’s welcome. Bring your talent (or your friends) and enjoy a relaxed night of local voices, good vibes, and connection at our storefront space. Doors open at 6:30pm, open mic from 7-9pm.

07/18 - Free Live Music at TBL Cafe

Join TBL for live music at the cafe! They will have their full espresso bar along with wine and beer for a suggested donation. Kenny Shore will be preforming an acoustic set.

Saturday August 1st The Left Hook Coffee is hosting their circus themed Grand Opening Block Party!! They are in need of some volunteers to work a couple different types of shifts. Check out the sign up below:

What you need:

• A good attitude
• A desire to work on bikes in the sunshine next to the lake
• 4-8 hours of your weekend
• Basic bike maintenance skills help A LOT... but the container is also a great place to learn!

What you get:

• Free bike education, if you're learning
• The satisfaction of helping your fellow humans learn basic bike skills, if you're teaching
• A day in the sunshine next to the lake
