Monday 03/30 - Craft Night at The Bike Library Cafe
Join us for a craft night starting a 6:30pm hosted by Sawyer! A platform apartments resident and frequent crafter. All crafts and crafters are welcome to join! There will be slow bar, a few donated craft supplies to use if you forget yours, and plenty of good vibes. Bring a friend and you project!
Friday 04/03 - First Friday Art Night at The Bike Library Cafe
Join us at the Bike Library Cafe for a First Friday Art Night! We will be showcasing art by small local artists. There will be art for sale, beverages to be drank, music to be listened to, and vibes to be had. Bring a friend and spread the word!
During the event Mona Abraham one of the local multimedia artists will be hosting a wet felt workshop from 7-8pm. Wet felting is a traditional craft of fusing wool roving into a solid piece of fabric by agitating it with hot water and soap. This versatile process has been used to create various items like hats, scarves, and mittens. Learn the basics of how fibers can be transformed into art and contribute to a community piece!
You can participate in her free demonstration of wet felting by registering at the link below:

Ongoing Activities and Opportunities:
Volunteering at the GGC Container

GGC Bike Academy
Last fall, we launched our first GGC Bike Academy, a 7-week series covering the basics of biking. We’re excited to bring it back in a refreshed 6-week format starting Thursday, April 16th.
Whether you’re new to biking or looking to build confidence and skills, this series is for you.
Each session is 90 minutes, and the full program costs $60 to support materials and a hands-on experience.
