June Newsletter

Bike month is over, but good vibes and our two-wheeled steeds roll on.

This month will be a big one for a variety of reasons. Here are the highlights, but the full event calendar is located here, so be sure to check that out!

Swift Campout

Just like last year, we're heading up to Falls Lake for an overnight camping trip. Like last year, we're featured on the Swift Industries website. How cool!

We will start at The Bike Library, head up to Falls Lake via the Neuse greenway, and return via the Jubala route. It's a fun 60-mile round trip. For a shorter option, Oak City Cycling has a great ride planned as well. Check them out for a fun Umstead overnighter, or come ride with us for a bit more mileage.

Basic Maintenance Workshop

This upcoming Sunday, June 8th, we will have our monthly bike maintenance class. As usual, we'll cover Air, Brakes, and Chain, as well as any bike-specific questions you might have. Please sign up using this link (survey below as well) so we have data to show when we apply for grants!

Adventure Series: MTB Ride

Saturday, June 14th, Jeff and Debra will be leading a MTB ride around Lake Raleigh Woods. Meet at the container, head over to the trails, and finish back at The Bike Library with an ice-cold Jabin.

NABR Run Club (Pronounced "Neighbor")

Every Sunday at 9am, Josh Grassel will be leading a group on a short, casual run around Lake Raleigh. Come out and meet your neighbors!

Espresso Express

Every Tuesday at 7am. Our staple casual ride continues – if you're considering coming out, now is a good time to join! The meeting place might change during the month of June, but that's currently classified information 😄
