Weekly Roundup: November 24-30

Happy Thanksgiving week for all who celebrate! Here's what we got going on:

The Bike Library Cafe Holiday Hours:

Wednesday: closing at 2pm, Thursday & Friday: Closed

Critical Mass - Friday 11/28 at 6:30pm

Critical Mass is a casual group ride held every last Friday of the month. We meet at the NC State Bell tower at 6:30pm and roll out at 7:00pm.

The ride is meant to be a statement. The purpose is to promote bike presence on the streets, build community, and encourage awareness around everyday cycling.

The pace is steady, the route is short, and riders of all experience levels are welcome. It’s a social ride meant to highlight the number of people who move through the city by bike and to create a safe, collective riding experience.

Potluck: Bring a dish that feels special to you and the way you celebrate the holidays. A description of the dish and it's ingredients will be helpful for those with dietary restrictions. Sign Up Here

White Elephant: If you would like to participate (not mandatory) here is how it works:

Each participant brings one wrapped gift (between $10-$20 value) and places it in the gift pile. Everyone draws numbers to determine the order of play. The first person selects and unwraps a gift. The next player can either choose a new wrapped gift or “steal” an already opened one. If your gift gets stolen, you get to pick another from the pile. The game continues until everyone has a gift!
