Weekly Roundup: December 29 - January 4

As 2025 comes to a close this week, we hope you take a moment to appreciate everything you’ve accomplished this year. Maybe it was reaching a biking goal, finishing a certain number of books, or saving up for a long-awaited trip.

The end of the year is such an exciting time full of reflection, gratitude, and planning for what’s next. It’s easy to get caught up in the goals and possibilities of the year ahead, so we hope you’ll also take a moment to pause and reflect on how far you’ve come.

This week, we’re back with some of our usual rides and runs, plus a fun addition to the schedule:

Watercolor Workshop with Mark 6pm at The Bike Library Cafe

If you have been thinking about starting 2026 on a creative note this watercolor series might be right up your alley.

This is an intro to watercolor workshop series, geared toward those starting out with the medium, although all are welcome. These sessions are designed to be taken sequentially as the techniques learned will build between sessions. So if you attend one, it is best to attend them all.

Please bring your own materials, a suggested list is below:

- Watercolors, any color palette is okay

- Brushes, horsehair brushes are preferred over acrylic or other synthetic materials

- Paper, cold pressed watercolor paper, any size

- Paper towels or lint free cotton rag

- Pen or pencil, if using a pen, it's best to use one with waterproof or archival ink
