Volunteer Opportunity: The Left Hook Block Party

Volunteer Opportunity: The Left Hook Block Party

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone’s staying dry after that funky morning thunderstorm. Wild to watch climate change unfold in real time.

Our friends at The Left Hook are throwing a block party and could use some volunteers to help make it happen. The event will support their Kickstarter as they build out their new space on East Hargett—and it’s also a great way to celebrate the neighborhood they’re part of. It’s an area that’s seen a lot of change, but Kristin’s goal is to honor its history while creating a grassroots third space and local business that truly belongs to the community.

At the end of the day, it’s going to be a classic summertime block party.

Volunteer at the TBL table

The Bike Library will be tabling at the event to show people what we have going on. With all of our events and the new TBL storefront, we have a lot to share. Please email lauren@thebikelibrary.com with "Volunteer" in the subject line if you'd like to volunteer.

THIS COULD BE YOU

Sign up as a vendor

If you or your organization would want to be present in a vendor/tabling capacity, please use this link to sign your organization up to table at the event.

The Bike Library just finished construction, and the financial stress of a multi-tens-of-thousands-of-dollars project is fresh in our minds. Please consider a donation to The Left Hook kickstarter to help them get to their $40,000 goal!
