Swift Campout: Year 2

Swift Campout: Year 2

It’s that time again — the annual Swift Campout is here! If you're planning on coming, please fill out this form.

Just like last year, we’re heading out for an overnight bikepacking trip to Falls Lake to soak up the sun, jump in the water, and sleep under the stars.

Join us this Saturday, June 21 for one of our favorite traditions. Meet at The Bike Library shipping container for a 12 PM departure.

Trip Details Recap:
Couldn’t make it to the info session last Sunday? No problem. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Ride Distance: ~40 miles out on Saturday / ~20 miles back Sunday
  • Route: See map below
  • Stops: 2–3 gas station resupplies on the way out; one final stop at Jubala Coffee in Lafayette Village on the return
  • Departure: Meet at The Bike Library before noon — we roll out at 12:00 sharp after a quick pre-ride briefing
  • The Shop: TBL will close at 12pm on Saturday and remain closed until the following weekend — gone camping!

Packing Essentials:
If you bring nothing else, bring:

  • Dinner and snacks
  • A sleeping setup (tent, hammock, bivy, etc.)
  • Plenty of water
  • A flat repair kit (available at TBL day-of if needed)

Need help loading your gear? Swing by an hour or two before noon and we’ll get you dialed in.

This ride is an intermediate-level bikepacking ride. For a more beginner-friendly option, we recommend going on the Oak City Cycling campout. Signup link here.

Come prepared, come curious, and come ready to enjoy the best parts of summer by bike.

See you Saturday!
