A New Coffee & Bike Shop In Town (plus more TBL Updates)

The Bike Library storefront at Platform Raleigh is finally open for business! After months of building, permitting, and inspections, the shop is finally operational.

New Storefront Hours

• Open days: Tuesday to Sunday
• Coffee shop hours: 7am to 3pm
• Bike shop hours 10am to 6pm

Day 01

This morning, Espresso Express met for the last time at Trophy on Morgan St. We rolled forty deep (the biggest EE on record) and went down past the shipping container, where The Bike Library dream began to solidify several moons ago.

We rolled up to the shop, where Chris and Kristin were waiting and ready for us to arrive. Kristin was kind enough to help out with our opening shift on day 1. Since the crowd was just about the most slammed we'll ever be, it was great to have her in the mix.

Overall, everyone seemed to enjoy the experience. It was awesome to see how excited people were for the new space to be realized in physical form – in the flesh, so to speak. Or, more accurately... in the wood-and-steel.

It's been quite a ride to get here, and it will be quite a ride from here on. In the meantime, please keep an eye on the calendar for our weekly and monthly events, and come out to support.
